Abulele Yekani, known as SPOTZ, is a Cape Town-born producer and DJ whose deep, powerful house sound carries a maturity beyond his years.

His journey began with drums as a child, shaped by his parents' culture and the rich musical landscape of Cape Town. Surrounded by seasoned artists from a young age, he developed a distinctive style focused on groove, rhythm and emotional depth.

Drawing inspiration from Black Coffee and Bruce Loko, SPOTZ creates music that sits at the intersection of deep house, experimental textures and pure dancefloor energy. His releases on Hotboxed Records — including ABANTU — established him as one of the most exciting young voices in the South African underground.
